On May 16, 2012, a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Hamrokhon Zarifi and United States Secretary of State Madame Hillary Clinton took place at the US State Department.

  On 15th of May the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon left for Moscow of Russian Federation with the view of participation in the anniversary session of the CSTO Collective Security Council and informal meeting of heads of CIS member states.

  The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a tete-a-tete bilateral meeting with the President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in Moscow.

  President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon attended the solemn ceremony of wreath-laying and military parade which has been held in the Victory Park of the capital on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945

  President of the country Emomali Rahmon received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov. Various aspects of multidimensional relations and cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia have been reviewed at the meeting.

   In the evening of 25th of March the first quadrilateral meeting of the Presidents of Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan has been held in Dushanbe. The issues of regional cooperation in spheres of policy, joint security interaction in fight against modern world threats and challenges,

   The central International Nawruz-2012 festivities have been held with participation of Presidents of Tajikistan and Pakistan and numerous high-ranking guests in Nawruz complex of the capital.

  This evening the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai, who has arrived in Dushanbe for participation in International Nawruz celebrations and the Fifth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan (RECCA-V).

  The current state and prospects of friendly relations and multidimensional cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan have been considered at the tete-a-tete meeting of the heads of both states Emomali Rahmon and Asif Ali Zardari, then during the official negotiation with participation of delegations.

  Today in the afternoon the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmud Ahmadinejad, who has arrived in Dushanbe for participation in the International Nawruz celebrations and the Fifth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan (RECCA-V).
